This will be our first river cruise. Europe has some new entry requirements but they aren’t in place this Spring. By fall, travelers will need to register and pay a small yearly fee.
Our first stop is Amsterdam. Because of all the canals, Amsterdam is often referred to as the “Venice of the North.” There are 1281 bridges crossing the canals - I can’t even imagine that many canals or bridges but sounds like many photo opportunities.
I always over pack so I was surprised to discover my suitcase is under weight! 😄 The weather will be very nice but a little on the cool side so I needed to assemble outfits that I can wear in layers which I expected to take up more room.
I expect to take tons of pictures so I am warning you now. 🤣
